Dr. Josep Masdemont

Josep J. Masdemont is professor in the Applied Mathematics Department of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). His research interests include applications of Dynamical Systems and Numerical Analysis to Mission Design, Formation Flight and Astronomy with special emphasis on Libration Point Orbits for the design of zero-fuel and low-fuel spacecraft trajectories. He has participated in different projects with the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA/JPL and worked as a consultant for different missions such as SOHO, Herschell-Gaia, WSO, Genesis, TPF and Darwin.
